Amiodarone (Cordarone)
- Recommendations:
- Patients on amiodarone can develop either hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism. Recommended that a patient on amiodarone have baseline thyroid function tests (free T4, TSH) with follow-up testing every 6 months to monitor for these conditions.
